Our food grinder and strainer set is simple to put together, then just attaches to the multipurpose attachment hub on any KitchenAid stand mixer. You can either use the grinder on its own, or fit the strainer to the grinder, to double what your mixer can do⁽¹⁾.
You’ll love watching the grinder in action, for perfect veggie or meat burgers, breadcrumbs, patés or cheese. Add on the strainer and you get perfectly smooth fruit or vegetable purées, jams or sauces. Not only will your meals be fresher and healthier, with no preservatives, you can enjoy playing around with flavour combinations.

With the grinder part of the set, you can choose just the ingredients you love for homemade versions of your favourites. Experiment with adding all kinds of flavours and twists to your grind, like parsley, garlic, rosemary and more. The possibilities are endless.
The fine plate gives you smooth results, for producing paté, baby food, spreads, or meat for burgers, meatballs or sausages with a finer texture. The medium plate is for slightly chunkier burgers and patties, or vegetables for soups, casseroles, or veggie burgers. The coarse plate is for chunkier still, powering through vegetables and cheeses and giving you the perfect texture for chilli or meat pies.
Stress-free straining for the smoothest dishes
The fruit and vegetable strainer part of this set works with the meat grinder to break down ingredients. The strainer cone removes any peels, stems or rinds, leaving you with silky textures.
You can use it as a strainer for tomatoes, lemons, grapes or raspberries, or to make your favourite applesauce, pumpkin purée, and so many other delicious dishes and sides. With this wonderful food mill attachment, there’s so much to try!
