Powerful, speedy, thorough mixing

The KitchenAid mixer was the original home stand mixer to feature unique ‘planetary action’. What does this mean? The beater shaft spirals in one direction and the beater in the other direction to at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl, so everything is fully mixed in. 

This KitchenAid Artisan 125 has 10 speeds to give you the precision you need for the job in hand. Just move the speed control lever and let the stand mixer take over. Choose from speed 1 for a gentle stir, up to 6 for beating and creaming, and 10 for fast whipping. In fact, you can get perfectly whipped cream in less than a minute(2). From mixing cake batter for baking to whipping up meringue or kneading dough, just select your accessory and speed and off you go!

Artisan mixer designed with you in mind

When you’re itching to get started with your new KitchenAid 5KSM125, the last thing you need is to be wrestling with is tricky accessories or complicated controls. The tilt-head construction of this mixer makes things super easy. Just lock the bowl into place, pop in your chosen beater and lower the head. Slide the speed lever to start, it’s as simple as that!

When you’ve finished, you can put the bowl, paddle (also called a flat beater) and dough hook in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand wash the whisk in warm soapy water. The accessories all fit neatly inside the bowl when your mixer is not being used. Job done.

Happy medium for small and large quantities

The most popular of our medium sized mixers, the KitchenAid 125 handles big or small batches of food with ease. So if you’re whipping up a quick dessert for one, or batch cooking for the freezer, this stand mixer has a sturdy stainless steel 4.8 L bowl that can take it all on. 

You can happily, mix up to 2 kg of bread dough, or a whopping 9 dozen cookies (3). That’s more than enough to go around!
